ZED X One S Stereo keeps rebooting

I have a ZED X One S Stereo Pair which constantly reboots (causing the video output to freeze and turn green) when they are in use. What could be causing this issue and how can it be fixed?

This is the message it says when rebooting/freezing/turning green: [2026-07-30 19:10:11 UTC][ZED][INFO] CAMERA REBOOTING in sl::ERROR_CODE sl:Camera:grab(sl::RuntimeParameters)

System Information:

  • Jetson AGX Orin (Ubuntu 22.04.5 / JetPack 6.2.2 / MAXN Power Mode)

- ZED Link Capture Card Quad

- ZED SDK 5.2.3

Would upgrading from ZED SDK 5.2.3 to the latest ZED SDK 5.4 be beneficial (especially if any fixes related to this issue were added between these versions)?

Are you still using the ZED Media Server or the new method based on ZED SDK “Open”?

Yes, we recommend you install the latest ZED X Driver v1.4.3 and the latest ZED SDK v5.4.1.

I am using the new method, with camera IDs, to open the ZED X One S Stereo Pair.

I have installed the latest ZED X Driver v1.4.3 and the latest ZED SDK v5.4.1, but I keep getting the same error message:

[2026-08-25 17:55:31 UTC][ZED][INFO] CAMERA REBOOTING in sl::ERROR_CODE sl::Camera::grab(sl::RuntimeParameters)

Eventually, when the camera fails to reboot, I get this message:

[2026-08-25 17:55:31 UTC][ZED][ERROR] [ZED-Argus][Critical] Reboot has failed for CAM0 with current state=4
[2026-08-25 17:55:32 UTC][ZED][ERROR] FAILURE in sl::ERROR_CODE sl::Camera::grab(sl::RuntimeParameters)

What else should I do to fix this issue?
