Hello,
I am having trouble getting a video stream from my ZED X Mini when connected to a Jetson Orin Nano using the ZED Mono Link capture card.
After installing the ZED SDK and the ZED SDK driver, making sure the camera and capture card are connected (capture card on the CAM0 slot of Jetson), and rebooting, I launch ZED Diagnostic and ZED Explorer. ZED Diagnostic succeeds in the Camera Test portion, and these are the logs I get after running ZED_Diagnostic --dmesg:

However, I cannot get a camera stream from ZED Explorer. When running ZED Explorer, it continuously prints a timeout error:

before giving up and printing that there is no valid camera detected. I can see the LIVE icon on ZED Explorer with an option for changing the resolution, and I can also see that the camera is recognized as a ZED X Mini - CAM0. It appears the Argus provider cannot initialize the camera however.
Hardware Setup:
- Camera: ZED X Mini
- Capture Card: ZED Mono Link GMSL2 capture card
- Cable: Stereolabs GMSL2 cable (camera → capture card) and Official CSI-2 cable (capture card → Jetson Orin Nano)
- Power:
- The Jetson is powered by the power adapter that came with the Developer Kit
- The capture card is powered through the JST port, with 18V.
- Platform: Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit
- Software Versions:
- Jetpack 6.2.1 / L4T 36.4.4
- ZED SDK 5.1.1
- ZED X Driver 1.3.2 for ZED Link Mono (Jetpack 6.1 & 6.2 (L4T 36.4)) installed as per documentation.
What I Have Tried:
- Flashed the Jetson with Jetpack 6.2, 6.1, and 5.1.5, and installed the ZED SDK and ZED X Driver (the appropriate versions) on each. 6.2 and 6.1 have the same issue, while 5.1.5 does not detect the camera at all.
- Reinstalled the SDK and ZED-X Driver multiple times and restarted the zed_x_daemon multiple times.
- Rebooted multiple times.
- Checked cables and seating
- I have the GMSL2 cable going from the camera to the capture card seated well, and the CSI-2 cable going from the capture card to the jetson with the black side up. This is what I saw on the instructions, but is this the proper way to set it up?
- Tried different resolutions and frame rates (changing them does nothing).
I greatly appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting assistance!
