What is the difference between the rgb/image_rect_color and left/image_rect_color ROS topics?

Are they displaying the same image? Or does the rgb/image_rect_color stitch together both the left and right image_rect_color images and display it all w.r.t. the left frame?

there is no difference between the two images.
We keep the rgb/image_rect_color topic for compatibility with standard topic names for RGBD sensors.
