Hi,
I’m having trouble getting two Stereolabs ZED XOne GS cameras working on a Jetson.
System:
-
Jetson Orin
-
JetPack 6.2.1
-
L4T 36.4.4
-
Linux kernel 5.15.148
-
CUDA 12.6
-
TensorRT 10.3.0
-
cuDNN 9.3.0.75
Cameras / ZED:
-
2 × ZED XOne GS
-
GMSL via MAX96712
-
ZED SDK 5.5.0
-
ZEDLink Duo 1.4.3-LI-MAX96712-L4T36.4.0
The cameras are correctly detected by ZED Explorer, GMSL/I2C communication works, the kernel detects both sensors, and /dev/video0 and /dev/video1 are created.
However, the cameras cannot actually stream any frames. Even using v4l2-ctl directly on the host, no frames are received.
The ZED SDK then fails with:
CAMERA FAILED TO SETUP
and the process exits with code -11.
Im trying to launch them with ros2 wrapper in docker and it returns with a log:
component_container_isolated-1] [2026-10-06 18:33:24 UTC][ZED][ERROR] [ZED-Argus][Critical] Cannot create iQueue (produceSingleV5)
I have already:
-
upgraded ZED SDK from 5.2.2 to 5.5.0,
-
reinstalled the
stereolabs-zedlink-duopackage, -
verified that the cameras are detected correctly,
-
tested the cameras directly through V4L2.
The problem seems to be somewhere between the ZED sensor/GMSL pipeline and the Jetson VI/CSI capture layer.
Has anyone successfully run ZED XOne GS + ZEDLink Duo MAX96712 on JetPack 6.2.1 / L4T 36.4.4? Thanks!
