ZedX Firmware update

How can I determine if there are firmware updates for the ZedX camera? On a jetson orin in the Zed Explorer I see the camera firmware listed as 2001 which is newer than anything listed on https://support.stereolabs.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005189714-How-do-I-update-my-ZED-camera-firmware . It also says “Firmware Update is not available on this platform”. My understanding is the ZedX can only be used on the jetson computers, so I don’t see how to update the firmware. I’m on the 5.0 SDK

Hi @robots
There is no firmware update on ZED X cameras.
We agree that this window causes misunderstandings with the GMSL2 cameras.
It will be improved with the next release of the ZED SDK.

HI @Myzhar does this hold for ZED X One cameras too? No firmware update for them?

Yes, this is correct. No firmware update required for:

  • ZED X
  • ZED X Mini
  • ZED X One GS
  • ZED X One 4K
