ZEDBox not working - Unable to reset or boot

Hi,
We ran into issues with our ZEDBox(The o/p was blank after boot up) and we wanted to reset the ZEDBox. So, we followed the instructions as stated in the website. However, we ran into errors during the process and we haven’t been able to resolve it. The box is in reset mode irrespective of power cycling now (verified through lsusb showing 7323). When I try to flash the board, here’s the log:

I’m using a Ubuntu 20.04 dual boot host system, and have also tried it using other systems and through Ubuntu 18.04(live boot through a USB stick).

Nvidia advises to use a high quality USB cable (point 1 in the screenshot). Your log suggests something like that. Can you try with another one ?

I heard that you had to rename a config file to achieve this result. We never encountered such a problem. Have you downloaded the L4T 35.3.1 sources?

Yes - I downloaded the BSP from the Nvidia website - I followed the instructions on the update/reset page very carefully multiple times.
I tried now with different USB cables and systems. No help.
Another thing I noticed was that the ZEDBox is in recovery mode directly even after power cycles. Not sure if this is intended.

Also, what I just noticed was that although lsusb shows the device and dmesg can detect it being plugged in, it doesn’t show up in /dev/ttyACMn.

Have you tried connecting it to a USB3 port on your host machine? The line ERROR: might be timeout in USB write. coupled with lsusb showing the device on a usb 2.0 bus suggests that perhaps there is a hardcoded timeout within the installer which expects throughput greater than usb 2.0 speeds.

I did try it through all the ports on the host. They are all marked SS, so they are USB3.0. And as I mentioned earlier, I tried using different cables too
