I ran into an error with the zed_x_daemon on my ZED Box 8GB. I don’t have any clue of how it happened, but since this morning all my tests came up to the same results, which are “camera not detected” or “failed to connect to zed x daemon”.
I tried to troubleshoot by running a ZED_Diagnostic --dmesg, and this is the content of the logs file :

It seems like i2c 30 to 33 don’t exist and that the modules sl_max9296.ko and sl_zedx fail to be inserted into the kernel. I tried to restart the services, to reboot the ZED Box many times, but nothing works.
Do you have an idea or any suggestion to try? Should I reinstall my ZED Box?
Thanks
As you suggested, I installed the last version of the driver by following the documentation. It seems to have worked fine and I switched from the v0.6.4 to the v1.0.5. This is the diagnostic :

The insmod errors disappear and I don’t have the “Failed to connect to Zed X daemon” message anymore, which is great. I can access the camera.
Even though everything seem to work as expected, I see that there are still some I2C related errors, is it a normal behavior using the ZED X or is there still something wrong ?
This is expected. I cannot explain why because it’s something related to how the driver works, but you can ignore those lines as long as your cameras work correctly.
