I just connected the ZED Mini for the first time. It took me an hour to get working after installing all the ZED tools and CUDA.
It turned out the orientation of the included USB C cable. The arrows have to be on the same side as the lenses.
Is there a reason for this? I thought USB C was made to be reversable
It would be great if this was noted on the quickstart guide as well.

Welcome to the Stereolabs community.
We apologize for your bad initial experience with ZED Mini. As you said indeed the USB Type C connector only works on one side because of an electronic configuration that does not allow the camera to be detected on the other side.
Normally the ZED SDK API functions and the ZED SDK tool applications recommend checking the cable connection and the warning messages recommend flipping the cable in case of ZED Mini.
