Zed Mini unexpected artifact with 720p resolution

Hello there,

I am having a particular issue using the Zed Mini with 720p resolution. The images I get from the left camera have a strange artifact on the top.

The problem is more visible when the image is rectified.

I have tried different resolutions (with and without rectification), but the issue occurs only with 720p. I also tried different FPS (using 720p), but the result is the same. I am using the ZED_Depth_Viewer and ZED_Explorer to get the images from the camera.

I am wondering if someone had this issue before. Is this a hardware issue? I have a Zed2i too, and so far I have not experienced a similar problem.

Thanks!

OS: Ubuntu 22.04
ZED SDK: 3.8.2 and 4.0.8
API: Zed SDK tools

Hi @jrodriguezg
if you are saving these images with ZED Explorer, then what you see is expected because ZED Explorer displays the RAW not rectified images.

Do you see the same defects in ZED Depth Viewer at 720p?

Hi @Myzhar,
Thanks for your feedback.
Yes, I do see the defect with the ZED_Depth_Viewer. Please note that I have not saved the images, instead I have taken screenshots of the outputs from each viewer. The first image of my previous post corresponds to the output of the ZED_Explorer while the second one to the ZED_Depth_Viewer.

Please send me a screenshot of ZED_Depth_Viewer, then use ZED Explorer to record a short SVO and share it with me.
You can send it to support@stereolabs.com if you do not want to share it publicly on the forum.

Hi @Myzhar,
I just emailed support@stereolabs.com with the requested files. I put as subject the name of this thread.
