Could you please check and advise the part (ZED Mini) below?
The diagnostic report shows that only the MCU module of the camera is detected. The video module is not present.
This can be caused by two factors:
- (The most probable) The USB connector on the camera is connected to the wrong side. Even if it’s a USB 3 Type C connector, it can only work on one side, so the customer should try to flip the cable
- If the camera is not detected on both sides, then it can be defective, but I need the two diagnostic files to confirm this.
The most important thing is the BLUE LED light at the front doesn’t turn on at all They have already checked with the ZED documentation and ChatGPT. If it doesn’t come on, it means the hardware is faulty.
The LED turns on only when the camera is open using a ZED SDK-based application, not when the camera is plugged.
I recommend that you tell customers to continue to reply to the forum thread, providing all the information that we ask for. Every little detail is important to understand if the camera is faulty or if it’s the customer’s fault.
