Hi,
I installed the latest ZED SDK on an AWS EC2 g5 instance running Windows Server 2025, with CUDA 13 and Python 3.11. But ZED Explorer keeps crashing immediately on launch.
I wanted to check: Are there any known compatibility issues or recommended settings to get ZED Explorer working on EC2 GPU instances (specifically on Windows Server)?
If there are logs or a debug mode I can enable to see what’s causing the crash, please let me know as well.
We need more details about your device’s status and system configuration to gain a clearer insight into the cause of your issue.
Could you connect the camera to the USB3 port, launch the ZED Diagnostic tool, and send the content of the report file it produces?
I don’t have a ZED camera with me. I’m only trying to use ZED Explorer to replay existing SVO recordings on an EC2 instance.
Here are my system details:
Instance: AWS EC2 g5.2xlarge
GPU: NVIDIA A10G (virtualized GPU)
OS: Windows Server 2025 AMI
NVIDIA Driver: 581.80 DCH
CUDA: 13
ZED SDK: 5.1.1
Python: 3.11
ZED Explorer crashes immediately on launch, even before loading an SVO file.
Since I don’t have the camera with me, the diagnostic tool can’t produce a device report.
Please let me know if there is another way to capture logs or debug output from ZED Explorer on this environment.
This is not true. You can save the report at the end of the process even if a camera is not connected.
In this case, the report contains information about the system setup that helps us understanding if the configuration is supported.
