ZED Box won’t power on after shutdown (no Power LED / “no power”) — carrier JNX42-SL

After the last shutdown on Dec 18, my ZED Box stopped powering on completely. It is now in a “no power” state: the Power LED does not turn on and there are no signs of boot.

1) Symptoms

  • Power LED: Does not light up under any condition.

  • Boot: No boot activity and no response from peripherals.

2) Troubleshooting performed (isolation)

  • I disconnected all peripherals and tested with power only.

  • I tested with different power supplies and different cables/outlets.

  • Result: The issue persists (no LED and no boot).

3) Hardware identification by Command-Line

From the board, I identified:

  • Carrier board: JNX42

  • S/N: 07880196

4) Software version (before the failure)

The system was running: head -n 1 /etc/nv_tegra_release # R36 (release), REVISION: 3.0, BOARD: generic, EABI: aarch64

So the device was on L4T/JetPack: R36.3.0.

I need support for An official recovery/diagnostic procedure for the “no LED / no power” condition, including:

  • Recommended power-rail checks (steps and expected signals/voltages).

  • Any service/recovery mode (internal button, jumper, power sequence, etc.).

Alse, if possible provide access to any available technical documentation for this platform, even if partial:

  • Pinout and documentation for the carrier/expansion board and internal connectors.

  • Power block diagram and/or reference rail voltages for field diagnostics.

  • Access full schematics or block diagrams and reference voltages to measure on the bench and report back

Hi @guilherme_ito
Welcome to the Stereolabs community.

Have you opened the ZED Box?
If you did it, you voided the warranty, and it won’t be possible to replace/repair it.

Have you read the Troubleshooting documentation?

Hi, it hasn’t been opened, it has the label and is in the command prompt.

We’ll follow up on Troubleshooting.
