ZED Box Orin NX 16GB Won’t Boot/ Recovery Blocked

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble with my ZED Box Orin NX 16GB (Serial Number: GTW-ONX1-E1AZ15SU). After the first use, Firefox and Chromium wouldn’t launch, so I tried reinstalling Snap. After that, the ZED Box stopped booting into the OS.

I attempted to enter recovery mode, but the current Jetson module only allows recovery via a flashed USB drive. I managed to boot from the USB, but after a reboot, the Jetson remains completely powered off, so I can’t run the command to force recovery mode.

I’m now completely stuck and cannot restore the system.

Has anyone encountered this before? Any advice on how to safely recover or flash the system in this situation would be greatly appreciated.

No, this is not correct. That applies only to ZED Box devices with a serial number different from GTW-ONX1-xxxxxxxx and GTW-ONX2-xxxxxxxx.

Please try with the standard procedure:

However, I have to say that you really need to plug and unplug the power connector several times to actually turn on the Jetson, whether in normal mode or recovery mode.
