ZED Box not powering up

Hello,
I have a Zed Box Orin NX 16GB that will not power up anymore. When I last used it, I had connected 2 Zed X cameras to it and an Ouster Lidar 1 through the ethernet port. It was powered with the supplied power supply and I had connected that first to the Zed Box before adding other peripherals. It was running as usual and I used the ZED SDK to interact with the cameras. I did not do anything with the Lidar. Then I powered off the Zed Box as usual, turning it off in software before pulling out the power supply as I have done many times before. However, now that I plug in the power supply, the LED is not blinking at all and there is no signal from the HDMI port. It simply will not turn itself on.

I tried to look at other cases such as Powering the zed box - #2 by mattrouss but I am not sure what the problem could be. The only thing I can think of is that when I turned off the Zed Box in software and then pulled out the powersupply, the Ethernet was still connected with “power on”, but I cannot understand that this would “brick” the whole box. What do I do?

Thank you for your time.

Hi @luancvt
Welcome to the Stereolabs community.

Is the ethernet cable connected to a PoE+ switch or power supply?

The ethernet is connected to a board that is supplied by an external power supply. The ethernet cable is only used to transfer LIDAR data, so as far I I know it is not connected to a PoE+ switch

Can you try to disconnect the ethernet cable and the power cable, then plug only the power cable to boot the device?

If this does not work then please write an email to support@stereolabs.com

Hey Walter,
I assume you are perhaps the one that will help me. I have tried to power the box with only the power supply, but it will still not boot. We have opened the box, and checked the voltages with a multimeter on the voltage tests underneath the board, and they all seem to be the right voltages except for the 3.3 L test which shows ca. 0.8V. The led in the corner is blinking as well. We are considering resetting the device.
Kind regards,
Luan

Hi Luan,
I asked you to write to support@stereolabs.com to open an RMA for replacement/repair, but you voided the warranty by opening the device.

Now, the only thing that you can do is try to reset the ZED Box, hoping it was a software problem.

Best regards

Walter

Hey,

That is fine, but from the things i mentioned such as a blinking LED light and the voltage test for 3.3L being 0.8 but alright for the others are there no other things to be done/check out regarding hardware?
