I’m having an issue with my ZED 2i Stereo Camera where every time I turn it on and view it on the explore page the video glitches. It flickers and I can’t have that happen during my research due to data collection purposes. I looked at the forums and I read that perhaps lowering the resolution and the frames would help with the issue, but the issue persists. I was thinking perhaps it has a connectivity issue with the cable. I’m currently using a laptop with only USB C portals and the cable I have for my camera is the USB 3.0 Type-C Right Angle Dual Screw Locking Cable. I’m using an adaptor to connect the usb into the laptop due to my computer only having usb c ports. Attached below is an image of what I am referring to. I was hoping you guys could help me with this urgent matter.
Hi @Santiago01
Welcome to the Stereolabs community.
How long is the ZED 2i cable that you are using?
Are the screws of the connector strongly strengthened?
Also, the USB 3 hub that you are using as an adapter can introduce noise on the USB 3 signals, causing the frame tearing effect that you described.
I recommend you test another adapter, considering using an active adapter with external power injection.
