Zed 2i extend working distance

I have been working with ZED 2i and ZED X cameras for a while. However, the stock cable lengths provided by Stereolabs are insufficient for my current setup. I have already reviewed the suggestions in the following support article:

For ZED 2i, I am looking for a reliable method to operate the camera from a distance of at least 100 meters. I am unsure how up-to-date the linked article is regarding available hardware. Aside from the officially recommended devices, could anyone share other specific hardware (e.g., USB over Fiber extenders) that they have verified to work flawlessly at this range?

I am not familiar with the connection method of the ZED X cameras (GMSL2), but if there are similar long-distance or proven solutions for them as well, I would be glad to hear about those too.

For this kind of lengths we recommend a “network” approach by leveraging the ZED SDK Local Streaming module:

The maximum tested length for a GMSL2 cable with a ZED X camera is 15 m.
