ZED 2i camera not detected by Ubuntu 22.04

Hi,

I’m testing a ZED 2i camera, but unfortunately, the camera does not power on when connected — no LEDs light up, and it is not detected by the system. I am using Ubuntu 22.04. I have installed the ZED SDK and used the ZED Diagnostic tool, which reports that no camera is connected. I am attaching a screenshot of ZED Diagnostic and the JSON results file for your reference. I have tested different USB 3.0 ports and used the “USB 3.0 Type-C Dual Screw Locking Cable”, but the issue persists.

Thank you very much for your support.

I look forward to your reply.

This is my “ZED_Diagnostic_Results.json” file:

Hi @Alessandro94
Welcome to the Stereolabs community.

The Diagnostic file shows that the camera is not detected.

What’s the output of the following command?
lsusb -d 2b03: -v

Hi Myzhar,

The camera is not detected by the system.

Please verify:

  • that you are using the original cable
  • that the screws are strongly strengthened
  • that the cable is working (try another one)
  • that you are not using unsupported cable extenders
  • that you are not using a USB3 hub
  • that the USB3 port works as expected
