Hi, first time poster, thank you for your interest and taking the time to read my post.
Excited to see the changelog for the latest v1.3.1, specifically for synchronization.
My system: Multiple ZED-X cameras with a DUO Link capture card on AGX orin dev kit.
I understand that the sdk/driver already synchronized the internal stereo pairs, but it would be great to have synchronization between the two devices.
If I am understanding the changelog correctly, I’d love some support in configuring this. I am happy to test it out and get some nsys logs.
Sounds good. In the meantime I will get a purchase request for a Quad link we can use for r&d. I assume it will support 4x Zed X cameras.
Thank you again
Right! Good distinction. I struggle to differentiate between cameras and modules each containing a pair of cameras
Interestingly, the duo is limited to 10Gbps and the quaad is 40. Perhaps that is a typo in the spec sheet, but this is another reason I’d like to switch over. Seems like the duo is severely at its limits with 2 ZED X
Thanks again
We will release the documentation to use this feature with the ZED Link Mono, the ZED Link Quad, and the Mini Carrier board (ZED Box Mini) soon.
Hi @Myzhar, does this mean that the camera synchronization for multi-camera capture isn’t enabled by default when we are on the latest SDK(5.0.4) and quad link driver(v1.3.1)? Are there any settings to enable sync for multi-camera capture?
Hi, just to make sure i understand it correctly, can i still sync to Zed X one GS on the same DUO capture card? Does this just mean i cant sync multiple DUO capture cards?
Support camera synchronization for precise multi-camera capture.
Where can I find updated documentation on how to implement this and exactly what it means? I haven’t been able to find any information beyond this post and the driver release page
So far all I got was this post stating it is only supported on the Quad capture, so we bought it, and still waiting on the update. Guess it means the many many dual captures we have wont be useful anymore?
I see synchronization mentioned multiple times in advertising etc, but really think there should be an update or documentation regarding this
