USB Microphone connected to ZED Box Mini

Hi, I’m using a ZED Box Mini and I want to connect one cameras plus a simple USB microphone.

My goal is to:

  • receive audio input from the USB microphone

  • play audio output from the device as well

Are there any limitations on the ZED Box Mini / Jetson Orin Nano regarding simple audio input and output support? For example, is a basic USB audio channel supported without any known restrictions, or are there hardware, driver, bandwidth, or SDK limitations I should be aware of?

Also, if I connect one cameras and a USB microphone at the same time, is there anything specific I should consider in terms of compatibility or performance?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @cyrus,

As the ZED Box Mini only has one USB port, we would recommend using one ZED X GMSL camera along with the USB microphone of your choice. We don’t really recommend using a USB dongle while using our ZED USB cameras as this might impact stability.

The ZED Box Mini runs Jetson Linux, which is based on Ubuntu, so the only constraints would be the availability of drivers on such a platform.

I hope this helps!
