We’re seeing significant stuttering in the ZED camera feed when there are many people in the scene. We’re using the ZED Plugin for Unreal, latest version v5.2.1.
The stuttering only affects the camera feed. Unreal-rendered elements, such as 3D objects, remain smooth.
Is there anything we can do to reduce this? We’re willing to sacrifice some tracking fidelity, but we’d prefer not to reduce image quality or frame rate.
Sadly, we didn’t get a good video. I should mention that the lighting was a bit bluish, although still reasonably bright.
We’ve tried a couple of machines, ranging from a 3080 Ti with an older Intel processor to a 5090 with the latest R7.
Details:
Camera resolution: 1080p, also tried 720p Camera frame rate: I don’t think this is set in the Unreal plugin, is it? Depth mode: Neural Body tracking mode: Human Body Accurate Body tracking configuration: See screenshot
