Stable depth values of Zed Mini and Zed 2i

Hi, I am trying to model the depth measurement error from my Zed Mini and Zed 2i cameras, I will measure the depth to the corner points of a chess board at different distances from 0 to 20m. But the problem is when measuring distances from far away, the depth value often fluctuates greatly, which makes the error modeling step difficult. I would like to ask if camera settings like brightness, exposure, confidence, etc. can improve the depth stability, if so please guide me, the camera and the chess board are both static.
