Dear StereoLabs Support Team,
I attempted to run a ZED1 camera that was available in my research lab.
(The camera does not have a USB port but is connected with a fixed cable, so I assume it is a ZED1.)
Initially, I was able to run the camera on a desktop running Ubuntu 20.04, and it worked fine.
However, the next day, it completely stopped working in Ubuntu 20.04, and now it is not being detected in any environment:
- Docker environment
- My laptop running Ubuntu 20.04
- My laptop running Windows
I keep getting warnings that I should switch to a USB 3.0 port, but I have already connected the camera to a USB 3.0 port directly (without a hub).
This is driving me crazy.
I am using the latest SDK version 4.2.5 and CUDA 11.8, and everything is properly installed.
I suspect it might be a hardware issue. If so, how can I resolve it?
- Can the camera be repaired?
- If I send it in for repair, how long would it take?
