Does the GMSL2 capture card that comes with the Robotics Perception Kit, the new version where you can have External trigger/strobe hardware synchronization support or is it the old version
Hi @Robotistic
Welcome to the StereoLabs community.
The Robotics Perception kit comes with the GMSL2 capture card Duo which does not yet provide support for External trigger/strobe hardware synchronization
@Myzhar, is this a HW or FW missing feature for the Duo card at the moment?
This is a hardware limitation of the capture card.
Only a mild gripe, but the store listing makes it seem like the Mono, Duo, and Quad are all capable of this. I understand the docs don’t show this as a feature for the Duo. The store listing shows HW sync as a product detail, not specific to one of the versions.

Agreed, the store page is extremely misleading. When we purchased ours at release we were assured that external trigger would be released very shortly, now almost two years later I have a set of very expensive paperweights because they still cannot perform the feature which was their primary selling point.
