Remote VNC/RDP/NoMachine access

Hello all!

I currently make use of the ssh interface for code editing, and that works well. However, we plan on installing a system in an area with limited access, so to run the examples with monitor/keyboard connected is impossible. What is the recommended way to have remote access to the ZED Box in a way that the only connection is the power supply and ethernet cable, and the live feed and desktop environment can be controlled headlessly like with VNC/RDP/NoMachine?

Thank you in advance,
Jose

Hi @jft_ch
Welcome to the Stereolabs community.

We recommend you use NoMachine or RustDesk for a flawless experience.

Do not forget to plug a dummy HDMI key into the HDMI port to avoid problems in headless mode, as explained in this support page.

Would this also work with the OpenGL visualization windows (e.g. live camera feed)? Or when the GPU is in use for image processing?

Yes, but you need a dummy plug as explained in the support page that I’ve linked in my previous reply.
