Question about the number of camera can be used on Jetson AGX Orin

Hello, everyone I’m planning to buy the new ZED X camera / ZED2i Camera for agriculture projects.

I’m trying to use the multiple cameras on Jetson AGX Orin, Does anyone know how many cameras total can be used together on Jetson AGX Orin? I wish to use 3 Cameras on the AGX Orin, is it possible?
If so, What kind of cables I will be needed?

Welcome to the Stereolabs community.

The AGX Orin is able to handle up to 4 ZED-X cameras simultaneously.
Furthermore, all 4 cameras are HW synchronized.
In the next few weeks, we will add in the store a 4 ways cable splitter.

I’m wondering should I wait for ZED-X instead of buying the ZED-2i?
Does the ZED-2i have HW synchronized when multiple ZED-2i cameras just like you mentioned ZED-X?

And you said that 4 ways cable splitter, does it means I must use all 4 cameras instead of 3cameras?

No, the ZED2i has no HW sync capabilities.

No, you can connect the number of cameras that you need.

I would like to wait for the latest ZED-X and try with the 4 ways cable splitter.
