PPS Signal input for Jetson

Hi,

after reading your post about Using GNSS RTK Linux, I am now working on setting up the PTP server to synchronize the satellite clock with the system clock which requires enabling the PPS signal input to NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin via GPIO port which lies in the 40-Pin headers. I am now using Jetpack 6.2 version. From my understanding, for this specific version 6.2, PPS GPIO support is already oringinal supported. Therefore, I just need to specify a certain GPIO pin to receive the PPS signal. Could you show me how can I like customize my own device tree overlay to enable the pps signal for the pin 16 which is GPIO08 according to the User guide.

Thanks.

Hi @syc,

Thanks for reaching out. We haven’t looked into setting up PPS on Nvidia Orin AGX just yet, so I’m afraid we won’t be able to help. I would suggest getting in touch with the Nvidia Jetson on their forums so they can point in the right direction to set this up.

However this would be a good tutorial to have in our docs to easily set this up, I will log this as a request internally to update our docs.
