Performance between 2.1mm and 4mm lenses

Hello,

On your website it is stated that the depth and image quality is enhanced with the 4.1mm at long ranges. Is it also better on the whole range compared to the 2mm? Is the overall range accuracy better on the 4mm?

In addition, would you have point cloud data samples using both lenses or any information which can help us for this evaluation?

Welcome to the Stereolabs community.

When you use the 4 mm focal length optics, the Field of View of the camera is reduced by about one-half.
This means that the dpi value is almost doubled, so more dpi, higher image details, and higher depth matching accuracy.
