Overexposure Issue on Sunny Days with ZED 2i Camera

Hello,

I’m encountering an overexposure issue with my ZED 2i camera during sunny days. To mitigate this, I’ve been using a warm-up period of about 10-12 seconds before capturing images. This warm-up helps to adjust the camera settings and reduces overexposure, but it causes a delay in taking pictures immediately, which is not ideal for my application.

Is there a way to fix this issue so that the camera can take an image immediately, like normal cameras, without the need for a warm-up period? Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

if you know a value of the exposure that works correctly, you can set it manually after opening the camera, then you can re-enable the automatic gain and exposure control.
