Limiting max exposure for the auto-exposure setting

Hi,

Because we are shooting images from a moving vehicle, we would like to keep exposure low as to avoid blurry images. However, to deal with dark/light conditions we would like to automatically raise and lower the gain. The auto-exposure setting will always raise the exposure to unwanted levels.

  • Is it possible to limit the max exposure whilst using the auto-exposure setting?
  • The alternative would be to write our own auto-gain adapter based on the brightness of the image. Is there any functionality for this already present in the sdk?

We are having a similar issue to you and struggling to create an auto-gain adapter for real time use. Did you manage to make any progress with this?
