Jetson Orin Nano with Waveshare Carrier Board Not Detecting ZED X One Camera

Hi everyone,

I’m using a Jetson Orin Nano with a Waveshare carrier board and a ZED X One camera. I’ve thoroughly checked my setup, ensuring that everything else works fine, but the Jetson still doesn’t detect the camera.

After doing some research and speaking with Waveshare, they confirmed that the Waveshare carrier board is compatible with the Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit. However, I’m still unable to identify the issue.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem with Waveshare carrier boards? If so, were you able to resolve it?

Additionally, if there isn’t an existing solution, could someone guide me in creating a custom driver for this carrier board? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

If anyone ever has this problem, I solved it by setting up jetpack version 5.1.2 and installing the corresponding driver, apparently waveshare’s carrier board is indeed compatible with nvidia’s carrier board.

@mertalper JP 5.1.2 was different concerning the newer Jetpacks and it may be compatible, even if I cannot guarantee that it works perfectly and provides stable and reliable connectivity.

As previously stated in my email to support, Waveshare is not a commercial partner of Stereolabs, and we cannot ensure compatibility of our software and hardware with their products, as we have not tested them in our labs.
