Jetpack 7.2 Orin Agx support

With the release of Jetpack 7.2 which supports Jetson Orin AGX, we are very excited to get started with Nvidia Isaac 4.X on this platform with ZEDX

Curious if there is any estimate on SDK support, or workarounds until that day.

Supporting JP7.2 (Jetson Linux 39.2) for Jetson Orin platforms is in our roadmap.
It could take longer than usual because of the upgrade from Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04.

Supporting NVIDIA Isaac ROS 4.x is also scheduled; we will begin development as soon as the ZED SDK for Jetson Linux 39.2 is ready.

+1, and want to add the commercial context behind this for prioritization.

Our production robot stack is standardized on ROS 2 Jazzy, whose Tier 1 platform is Ubuntu 24.04. On AGX Orin that means we need JetPack 7.2 / L4T 39.2. We run ZED X over GMSL2 as our primary perception, so the missing ZED X GMSL driver on 39.2 is currently the only thing blocking us from moving the deployment to 24.04.

JP6.2.2 / 22.04 works well for us today, but it pins us to ROS 2 Humble, and we need to be on Jazzy across the fleet. A coherent native stack (24.04, CUDA 13.x, ZED SDK, and the GMSL driver) avoids the container and CUDA-version workarounds, which do not cleanly solve this when the camera driver is kernel-bound to the host L4T.

Even a rough quarter-level estimate would help us sequence the migration. Happy to beta test driver builds on our AGX Orin hardware and send back diagnostics and logs to speed up validation.
