Jetpack 6.1 or 6.2 flash for zebox orin NX 16gb

Hello,
I would like to flash my ZED Box Orin NX 16GB to at least JetPack 6.1. Is there any way to do that, since the procedure is not specified in the official Stereolabs documentation?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @NassEssig
Welcome to the Stereolabs community.

The ZED Box Orin NX 16GB is not yet compatible with JP6.1 and JP6.2.
We will release the script to upgrade it as soon as it passes all the QA tests.

Hi @Myzhar  !

Any more news on this, considering the ZED Box Mini comes with JP6.2?

Thank you in advance for your help.

We will release the script to upgrade the ZED Box to JP6.1 in a few days.

Hi again @Myzhar,
Thank you for the quick answer  This sounds perfect! Will the script also enable MAXN SUPER and/or "25W REFERENCE POWER MODES?

No, the ZED Box is not designed to support the MAXN SUPER mode.
It could damage the Jetson module because of overheating.

The script is available in the documentation. Please note that JP6.1 and JP6.2 share the same L4T version: L4T 36.4

Out of curiosity,
Say, you have better heat dissipation solution which is different than the the stock heatsink aluminum case, how we can enable 40w and maxn super power mods?

Currently using your BPS flush script for 6.2 gives 10w,15w,25w, maxn.
According to the release notes for JP6.2 it has possibility to run

Wondering if this limitation of the module itself (which is odd giving that nvidia devs claimed that), or is it limitation of JNX42 (which is not clear, but there is whole script that you can run from the auvidea repository)

or is it simply stereolab’s safety measures (as foolproof) against burnt zed boxes?

Thank you

The carrier board of the ZED Box Orin NX was designed before the Super Mode was available; it does not provide the required features to guarantee the required heat dissipation at the PCB level.
