Hi, i’m using Zed 2i camera.
When i use it to record a few mins SVO2 file i can play back with it. but i recorded 1 hour of data. when i try to playback it i got error saying Invalid SVO file detected. This SVO file appears to be corrupted or improperly formatted. You may attempt to repair it using the ZED_SVO_Editor tool. this is super frustrating experience. So far I’ve had like a dozen issues related to ZED SDK.
Please help me fix it
I tried to run the repair using Zed SVO editor tool and it says successed. but when i try to open it with Zed explorer it still show the same error.
I was using the ZED explorer to record the video into svo2 format.
Hi @Edwu
What version of the ZED SDK are you using?
the verions i’m using is 5.1.2
Please try upgrading to the latest v5.2.3, which includes improvements to SVO recording.
Does the data i recorded got damaged then? Or it’s because there’s bug in the 5.1.2 SDK version?
We cannot say that without analyzing the SVO files
thank you. Ok i will try to download the latest SDK version. One our end we spend lot of time on preparing the recording. if this is damaged because of SDK bug. it’s going be a really frustrating experience.
FYI when i record for less than a minute. then if i open that small file everything’s working fine. So i don’t know why there’s issue with opening large svo2 file with all rest conditions remain same
I just installed the latest SDK version. and tried to open it with the ZED explorer. got the same error
I also tried record another 1 hour of data with the latest SDK. got the exact same error when i try to open it.
However if i record it for a few mins then when i open it everything’s working fine
Hi @Edwu
I reported the problem to the ZED SDK Team. They will analyze it to detect eventual bugs with long SVO recording.
