Issue stuck on "This operation will be run only once and may take a few minutes"

Successfully got the body tracking ai model installed on a local windows computer, however when trying to run and install the object detection model the terminal gets stuck on the optimizing the AI model for the graphics card.

Is it possible to uninstall and redownload the AI model? If so, which directory is the AI model information stored?

Hi,

On Windows the AI models are stored in

C:\ProgramData\Stereolabs\resources\

If you have issues with the model optimization, you can indeed clear this folder to start the process from scratch.

Hey Benjamin,

Is there any solution to a model stuck in optimization? Iā€™m having a strange problem on just one specific computer. Other models, such as the body tracking, work perfectly fine.

Hi,

The model optim should not be stuck forever, it either ends successfully, fails or crashes. It may take longer to optimize. What are the specifications of your computer ?
You can also run the ZED Diagnostic tool and share the result here.

Solution was patience.

Strangely on this Windows device it took about an hour before the optimization completed, but it eventually got there and all is working now. 2060 Graphics Card.
