How to correctly simulate a ZEDX Mini in Isaac Sim?

Hi, I would like to know if and how is possible to simulate a ZEDXM camera in Isaac Sim.
I set up a working ZEDX camera using the official extension and tried to simulate a zedX mini by changing the position of the two cameras object to account for the baseline of 5cm.
In this way I get wrong measurements for the depth so I think there is something else to change about the camera parameters or the sdk doesn’t know that the baseline changed.

Hi @Alessio-Parmeggiani
our plugin for ISAAC Sim only simulates a stereo camera with a 12 cm baseline.
It is not currently possible to simulate a ZED X Mini with a 5 cm baseline.

We will upgrade it to support the smaller baseline in the next few weeks.

Ok thank you! I’ll wait for the update then

Hi @Myzhar

Do you have any updates on the support for simulating the ZED X Mini with the ISAAC Sim plugin?

It’s already available with the latest version of the extension:

Hi @Myzhar,
could you please confirm which version you were referring to in your last reply? Unfortunately for me the ZED X Mini is still not available in the extension. I installed the extension manually based on the Github Repo (v.3.0.0). The usd folder in the repo contains one model only, i.e. ZED_X.usd.
Thanks!

Please use the latest version in the master branch of the GitHub repository.

I’m sorry but the latest update of the usd folder in the main branch of the public repo was 2 years ago:

Hi @efbe
I’m so sorry for the confusion! The screenshot I shared was from an internal development version that hasn’t been released yet, as it’s still going through validation.

We’re working hard to get everything ready, and we’re hopeful that the new version with ZED X Mini support will be available before summer. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding!
