I’m using a ZED 2i camera, and sometimes I get abnormal frames like the ones I attached above. I’ve included two images for comparison. It seems like part of an old frame is mixed in, or there’s some kind of distortion. The issue appears to be more severe than usual. I would like to know how to fix this problem.
Hi @suhyunkim
Welcome to the Stereolabs community.
Please add details concerning your hardware and software setup.
hardware
intel i7-10700
rtx 3060
zed 2i
software
zed sdk 4.1.2
And in USBDeview’s capture.
The strange thing is that among the USB 3.0 ports, some work while others don’t. Both sides seem to function normally. There are no issues connecting other external hard drives, and even the ZED camera connects and streams properly. However, one specific port causes the frames to arrive corrupted, as shown above.
Corrupted frames are a symptom of a bad connection.
Is this a USB3 port directly soldered on the mother board or is it wired?
It’s a port that’s directly soldered onto the motherboard.
That’s weird because this kind of problem is normally caused by USB3 ports poorly connected to mother boards by wires.
I suspect that the connector of this USB3 port is not providing a stable and reliable support.
