Is it just the USB C port and IP66 rated if both are 2.1m? Is the camera quality/image the same?

from an optics point of view, the ZED 2 is like a ZED 2i in the default configuration: 2.1 mm focal length optics without the polarizer filters.
The quality of images, the field of view, and the depth range are the same.
The ZED 2i is IP66 rated, it has different mounting points, it allows you to chose different hardware configurations according to different optics requirements.
