Depth Flickering

Hello,

I notice that the estimated depth (or point cloud) video has fiickering areas, but I am not sure if it’s normal when the settings are below. Could you please help me to check it? The .svo file and screen recording of ZED Depth View can be downloaded here.

SKD version: 4.1.3;
MODE: ULTRA;
DEPTH MIN.: 0.15M;
DEPTH MAX.: 3M
DEPTH STABILIZATION: 0%;
CONFIDENCE: 100%;
TEXTURE CONFIDENCE: 100%;
Other settings are default.

Thanks for your time and patience.

Hi @ZhenshanLiang
you have disabled Depth stabilization, you are using ULTRA depth mode, and you are acquiring homogeneously colored white surfaces, so depth “flickering” is expected.

I recommend you try NEURAL depth mode and you set depth stabilization at least to 1.

Hello @Myzhar

Thanks for quick reply. Yes, I intentionally set Depth stabilization to 0 to ensure that I can get rawer depth map.
