Hi!
We need to perform 6D pose estimation of a hand-held device that is to be manimuplated in an indoor enviroment, and were wondering which ZED camera’s VIO will produces a more reliable result (inside-out tracking).
Can one expect to see any difference between the ZED mini, 2i, and X mini in terms of accuracy? Is the ±1 mm accuracy listed in the ZED mini’s datasheet realistic, and can it be improved by mounting a second camera?
*some adittional considerations:
(i) The motion of the device is confined to a room that is no more than 4mx4m.
(ii) The lighting can be controlled and adittional visual features can be introduced to enhance localization.
I recommend ZED X cameras that mount Global Shutter CMOS sensors that can provide more stable images and depth information when performing visual tracking.
Thank you @Myzhar for your response. Do you think that the Orin Nano dev kit (+ZED Link mono) is capable of achieving this with the ZED X Mini? Will I be able to run something like this on the second CSI slot at the same time? Thanks!
