Changing exposure every frame and RAW data

Hi!

I am a PhD student and interested in Zed camera for research purposes.

  • I was curious if we can change the exposure time every frame to arbitrary values? How does this affect timestamps and synchronization with IMU data?
  • I saw in the datasheet of Zed X that output format is RAW10. I wonder how raw of a data we can access with the API? Can we access 10bit images before demosaicing with the new camera?

Thank you!

No, this is not possible. You should wait 2-3 frames before sending two consecutive exposure commands to give to the ISP the time to change values. This does not affect timestamps and IMU sync.

No, the cameras only provide RAW not rectified color images.
