Camera drift during SVO2 playback — expected?

Hi,

Using a fixed ZED camera with SDK 5.03 in TOuch Designer 2025.xxx

  • Live camera : tx/ty/tz and rx/ry/rz stay at 0. :white_check_mark:

  • SVO2 playback: same values drift over time, even though the camera did not move during recording. :cross_mark:

This causes body joint coordinates to drift, breaking position-based triggers.

Questions:

  1. Is this expected behavior during SVO2 playback?

  2. Is set_as_static = true in PositionalTrackingParameters the correct way to prevent it for a fixed camera?

I am using TouchDesigner and may forward findings to the Derivative team regarding their ZED integration.

No, this is not expected. We need more information concerning camera model and settings to learn more.

If the camera is not moving, then this is an important parameter to enable.

I recommend you also contact them to understand if you can use a newer version of the ZED SDK. The v5.0.3 is very old.
