Based on your website I couldn’t update Ubuntu from from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 because JetPack isn’t compatible with Ubuntu 22 for ZED X and Zed x mini camera. However, I really need to use Ubuntu 22. What should I do?
Hi @HamidBahreini
Welcome to the Stereolabs community.
What Jetson device are you using?
Jetson AGX orin 64GB Developer kit.
You must install the latest Jetpack 6.2 to have Ubuntu 22.04.
In any case, this is a question to ask to the NVIDIA Developer forum because the Jetson AGX orin 64GB Developer kit in not a Stereolabs’ product.
But in your website mentioned that I have to install JetPack 5.1.2 (L4T 35.4) if I have a Jetson AGX.
Can I use the Jetpack 6.1 and 6.2 for both my cameras properly? (ZED X and ZED X mini)
Where have you found this information?
In your website:
What type of Jetson AGX are you speaking about?
AGX is the format type of the Jetson module. There’s not a single AGX model:
- NVIDIA Jetson Xavier AGX is the first launched.
- NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin is the next generation.
- NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor is the latest one.
What model are you using?
Only NVIDIA Jetson Xavier AGX does not support Jetpack 6.x.
I have Jetson AGX Orin.
I want to make sure both of my cameras works perfect with Jetpack6.
They do. The ZED SDK always supports all the ZED Stereo cameras that are available in the store.
Thank you!
Are both cameras (Zed x and Zed xmini) stable on Jetpack 6? Do I have the best result with this version?
If a new version of the ZED SDK is not stable we do not release it.
Before releasing a new version the ZED SDK passes rigid CI validation tests.
Eventual known issues are normally reported in the changelog.
