Our application involves capture of images overhead of a moving vehicle(ie, camera pointed directly up), and as such, we need to keep the exposure value at a minimum to prevent blurring of the imagery. We would like to eliminate or minimise the manual adjustment of gain needed to handle changes in lighting conditions, but are not aware of a way to automate the gain without also automating the exposure, thus rendering our images unusable. Is this possible, and if so, how can it be implemented?

unfortunately, the ISP of the camera (I guess a ZED 2 or ZED 2i) does not allow you to control the exposure and gain autonomously. They can be both automatic or manual.
