Accuracy issues running a multi camera network setup with the ZED Box Minis

Hi everyone,

we have problems running a multi camera network setup with the ZED Box Minis (SDK 5.0) and ZED 2 cameras.

We are not able to get accurate body tracking with the Fusion Network Setup. Even the calibration is not going well.
Did someone get this setup working correctly?

We have a fusion PC with a 4090 running the ZED360 calibration. Cameras are detected in ZED360 and the boxes are running the publisher code from here Fusion - Stereolabs.

Mounted fans and power mode is MAXN.

All boxes are connected to one switch.

We’ve also setup (software) ptp as described here Setting Up Multiple 3D Cameras - Stereolabs.
Is this actually neccessary?

Compared to a local setup (that works very well) this is very jittery. Running the body tracking multi camera demo with the calibration file results in bad accuracy, even multiple bodies are detected for one person and we observe lags.

What could be going wrong. Are there any known application or user errors?
