34 joint skeleton in Touchdesigner

Hello guys,

We’re trying to set up skeleton tracking in Touchdesigner using the ZED chop. The 18 joint tracking works well, but when switching to 34 joints, the extra joints (such as eg. the hands and fingertips) don’t track. They look like a fixed extension of the wrists, but not following hand movements, not rotating etc.

Did anyone have the same issue?

Thanks so much, cheers
Gaspar

Hello @lakke, welcome to the forums!

For your information, we don’t maintain the TouchDesigner integration, it’s fully done by the TouchDesigner team, so I invite you to take your question to their forum.

It’s possible that you will get help from someone here, but you will likely find very few TouchDesigner users, and we in the Stereolabs team will not be able to help.

You’re welcome to leave your post here of course, but you should definitely check out TouchDesigner forums if you haven’t already.

Ok, I did not read carefully enough, sorry.

Exception to the rule, I can answer this as it’s not related to TouchDesigner.

The Body34 model is a pure extension of the Body18 model and does not provide wrist/ankle orientation.
For this, you need to use Body38.
