Low USB Bandwidth error ZED2i

Hi

I am trying out the ZED tutorials and for both tutorial 3, tutorial 4, i constantly (not always) get a low USB Bandwidth error.
I am using a USB 3.0 port (Blue at back of the Desktop)
Running the C++ code on Ubuntu 20.04

What should i do ?

I am using the USB cable that came with ZED

I sometimes have the same issue, but I simply fix it by unplugging and plugging the cable again. I realized later that my port was the problem and after I tried another port I haven’t experienced the problem again. Maybe try another port to start with, or even another machine if the problem persists.

Hope this is still relevant for you.

At first, the camera was having trouble, and it always wanted to be plugged into a 3.0 port, it acted as if connected to a 2.0 port. Neither Ubuntu 20.04 nor Windows seemed to work. That may be why you are running into performance issues. The camera was there for me but worked at a sup par performance.

The fix was a new cable, I used one that came with my monitors. The cable it came with raised the problem, a “proper” USB c to USB c cable (with adapter if needed) did the trick for both OS.

Hope it helps.

Same problem on ZED 2, is not possible to change the cable on it in some ways?
